  • Tutoring for the February 2018 bar exam is full

    My roster for the February 2018 bar exam is completely full. If you have emailed me and not received a response then it is unlikely I will be able to secure a spot for you. Each exam that comes I receive more and more requests and this season is no exception. I am going to go through and finish responding to everyone before the end of the year but for all intents and purposes my roster is full. I will resume taking requests for tutoring shortly after the February bar for the July 2018 bar exam with priority given to referrals from previous students as always.

  • Tutoring is full for the July 2017 bar exam

    My roster is now full for the summer 2017 bar exam and do not anticipate filling all waitlisted slots for the July 2017 bar exam. If you have already emailed me I will respond back and let you know if you are on the waitlist and if I will be able to take you on. In DC news, DC results letters started coming in this weekend so if you have not received it yet, it should be today or tomorrow hopefully at the latest.

  • Tutoring for the July 2017 bar exam

    Now that the dust has settled from the February exam, I am going through all requests for July 2017 bar exam tutoring. Every email I have received has been queued and categorized. I am expecting it to take about 2-3 weeks so if you have contacted me you’ll be getting a response soon.   • Tutoring slots for February 2017 are full

    I have filled all of my tutoring slots for the February 2017 bar exam. I still have some slots yet to confirm, so more spots may open up to the people on my wait list, and I have several folks to still get back to, so I will get back to everyone who has emailed me so far by the end of the week either way. So if you have not heard back from me yet, I will get back to you soon. If anyone is considering contacting me for the first time now, there is very little chance of an opening for February 2017. But if you have extenuating circumstances, feel free to reach out and maybe I can point you in the right direction. Thank you.

  • Tutoring for the February 2017 bar exam and good luck to those taking the MPRE this weekend

    I am now beginning the process of reviewing all the emails I have received so far for tutoring for the February 2017 bar exam. I am anticipating getting through the emails by the end of this month (August 2016) so please be patient. I will review them from the oldest to most recent, but with emails from as far back as early January 2016 it will take me a while so please be patient. When emailing me about tutoring, please remember to always include the following information:

    1) Why you are looking for a tutor?
    2) Which bar exam (e.g. – July 2017 Virginia Bar Exam) are you planning on taking?
    3) List the bar exams you have taken in the past as well as the results and complete breakdown of your scores.
    4) How did you prepare for your past bar exams (e.g. – self study, barbri, pmbr, etc.)?
    5) Any other information you think will help give a better understanding of your background and current situation.

  • Tutoring roster is full for all states for July 2016

    I have filled my entire roster and my waitlist for the July 2016 bar exam and am no longer accepting any more students. I believe I have responded to all the emails I have received so far, and I know some folks have emailed several times and it can take a while for a response but things get quite busy around results season. I have started filling spots for February 2017 so if you are interested please feel free to email me and of course if you have extenuating circumstances please feel free to email me for July 2016 and I can try and give you some advice.   • Tutoring full for February 2016 bar exam

    The title says it all, I am full for the February 2016 bar exam. I know California is not out yet, and MD just came out Friday, but I have reached my limit of students for all states for February 2016. If you are interested in July 2016, I am taking applications now but there is no rush as I will not be accepting anyone until after the February exam is over. For those of you that have already emailed me, I will respond back to you. For those of you in active correspondence with me I will get back to you ASAP. When looking for a bar exam tutor I always tell people to trust their instincts. Talk to the tutor over the phone and be sure you have a good connection with them. Ask them how many years they have been tutoring and how successful they are at doing it. (It sounds obvious, but you want someone who is good at helping people pass) Be sure to find out if they actually care if you pass the exam or not, many tutors are just in the business to make as much money as they can without really caring whether or not their students pass the exam. So, in the end you want to make sure that the person you hire is someone who you will enjoy working with who you trust is an expert in what they do.

  • Tutoring for the February 2016 Bar Exam

    My roster is nearly filled for February 2016, for any and all bar exams. I promise to get through and respond to every email still sitting in my inbox (a little less than 100 as of tonight). For those of you I have already responded you, rest assured I am working to schedule preliminary calls to review what options exist for your particular scenario. I only take on a few students each administration so I unfortunately cannot accept everyone that is interested in working with me. If you are interested in July 2016, I will be working on that roster starting in a couple of weeks. For those of you waiting for Maryland bar exam results this Friday, please don’t be discouraged, I will still take on a couple MD students even after I finalize my roster for February this week. And of course, I have a spot or two for California since that’s still over two weeks away.   • Bar Exam Tutoring roster for July 2015 is full

    I know not all states have released results yet (California, etc.) but I am unfortunately not accepting any additional students for this July 2015’s Bar Exam, I have limited time this summer and only take on as many students as I feel I can best provide a complete 1 on 1 program for. I have reached that limit and sadly must decline any additional students for this summer. I do have a minimal waitlist but I am not accepting any more students for the waitlist either and to be honest there is a very low likelihood that even the first student on the waitlist will end up with a spot for this summer. As for February 2016, I have signed up a few folks for that exam and have plenty of spots as of now. Of course, if you are taking this July 2015’s summer bar exam and want to send me an email or have extenuating circumstances I am always happy to discuss and provide some guidance to try and help when possible. To everyone that has already emailed me, rest assured I do respond to each and every email I receive I just need to finish going through my inbox and it does take time.   • Tutoring slots are FULL for February 2015 Bar Exam

    As the title says I am not accepting any more students for the February 2015 bar exam. This has been the case for nearly a couple of months now as I filled up around the end of August. I know it may seem unfair to July test takers as results just came out, but I only take on a handful of students each exam and prioritize multiple repeat takers, and they tend to decide which bar they are taking further in advance. If you have an exceptional set of circumstances feel free to email me but please keep in mind I am taking students for July 2015 at this time. My roster for July is about 1/2 full at this point but I still have open spaces. I will always post in the right side of my blog when I am full for the current exam and which exam I am currently accepting students for.
