The DC Bar does not give a definitive date as to when the bar exam results will be released. For the July exam they usually say “mid-November”, but we usually see the results in mid-October. This year I am guessing they will be released next week, around October 25th. They first post them on the door in the courthouse and then mail out the results. They also ask the IT staff to post the results online to both websites. The online posting can occur that same day or several days later, depending on how busy the IT staff is. Once the results are available online, I’ll post a link to them here on this blog. Calling the office usually does not help as they will not tell you when they are planning on posting the results. Best bet now is to be patient. If anyone happens by the courthouse and sees the results posted on the door, drop me a note or comment here.

I just called, and they said they’re actually still waiting on grades. Maybe just a line to tell people, maybe telling the truth???

Just spoke with front desk person at the Committee on Admissions, and they indicated that the results will NOT be posted today. No word on whether or not it will be tomorrow.

Not too surprising, so let’s hope for next week. Although, there is supposed to be a big storm passing through the area early next week and that may hold things up depending on how severe it is and if we have blackouts again.

As of this morning the results have still not been posted at the courthouse. Try not to pay attention to rumors. Hopefully we will have the results this week.

I did a little digging on old blogs, and it appears people get their letter in the mail a day or two before they’re posted. So, start checking those mailboxes!

The letters are mailed the same day as the results are posted on the courthouse door. The results are posted online anywhere from the same day to almost 1 week later depending on how busy the IT staff is.
