My bad, you are correct. Thanks!
Bar Tutor – Can you describe the swearing in process In DC? I’ve heard no cameras are permitted in the courtroom. Also, is one sworn for both the Court of Apeals and District Court at the same time, or is admission to District Court a separate process altogether?
Thanks very much!
No cameras in the court, correct. You may take pictures outside. The building is completely renovated and beautiful. Great to invite family/friends and take pictures outside.
The court of appeals is the highest court in DC, so you are set there. However, if by “district court” you mean the US district court (federal court system), then that is separate but typically does not require an exam. You should inquire directly with any federal court you wish to appear in front of for their particular requirements for admission.
Wonderful, thank you for the info!
